Description
This third generation of the spectacular SA-11 incorporates a unique block of reading of last generation and a new high-current D / A converter of audiophile grade, being the result a level of detail still more delicate and overall superior that of its predecessor. But even before these refinements this reader was already a reference on its own merits as a result of the use of many of the advanced technologies originally developed for the SA-7S1 model of our renowned Reference Series.
For example, the SA-11S3 uses Marantz's unique "Dynamic Digital Filtering" technology, which allows conventional CDs to display such incredible sound as SACDs. Not only for discs but also for any digital signal.And, moreover, a highly sophisticated algorithm is used that until now had only been used in professional recording studios.This type of filtering preserves a greater level of detail To provide an even wider sound scene and perfect sound balance.
In addition, the SA-11S3 has a fully balanced architecture with minimized signal paths and circuits executed with discrete components and the Marantz HDAM-SA2 high-speed amplification module. A high precision internal clock reduces the jitter to the lowest possible level while the high rigidity chassis built in two layers absorbs potential vibrations to a minimum. It also highlights the massive presence of copper cladding and external electromagnetic interference blocking elements in order to keep the signal as clean as possible. The user will also appreciate the presence of a high-quality headphone output equipped with a HDAM-SA2 module and a current-based amplification electronics. In addition, we have included a USB port on the front panel for listening and recharging. For its part, the DAC mode offers three digital inputs: a USB-B (which works in asynchronous mode when connected directly to a PC), a coaxial and an optics. In listening, this translates into more detail, more precision and more emotion than ever, all in the context of an extremely open sound scene that positions each instrument and each singer with unprecedented precision. NOTE: To listen to music from a PC or Mac connected via USB (using the DAC mode of the SA-11S3), the software for the relevant driver must first be installed on the computer.
