Special edition of the celebrated T1, this simple yet highly refined turntable incorporates a high precision numerical machined base made of MDF with anti-resonant treatment whose interior does not include any plastic elements or empty spaces to prevent unwanted vibrations from occurring in inside the chassis. In addition, the T1 Special Edition mounts a resonance-free, high-mass glass platter in order to avoid weak spots from less “sound-friendly” materials. For its part, the feet that support the assembly isolate it from possible environmental vibrations present in the surroundings of our Hi-Fi equipment while the reading arm is made of a single piece of aluminum and equipped with a sophisticated turning system to guarantee absolute precision in its operation. The T1 Special Edition also features a “subplatter” mounted on a very low-friction slewing system with a hardened steel shaft resting on a brass bushing. The icing on this incredible turntable is a feature hitherto unthinkable in a product of its class and price: the option of incorporating one of Pro-Ject's extraordinary Speed Box (SB) speed control circuits, providing you with a rotational stability comparable to that of much more expensive models.
