Equipped with Final's exclusive MMCX connector, the E4000 is an exquisite pair of E4000 in-ear headphones featuring the use of an acoustic resistor at the rear of each "shell" speaker to control the response curve in the mid-range, a key determinant in the main structure of sound quality. Immediately below, an "L" shaped space allows, by creating a dedicated acoustic chamber, the bass response to be tuned without reducing clarity. As with the E3000 and E2000, Final's design team has based these designs on the results of the most advanced research in the fields of acoustic engineering and psychology, and no particular frequency range has been emphasised or masked, resulting in outstanding resolution. Another feature to note about the E4000 is that they are the first models in the E-Series that can be rewired, while the aluminium construction of the earcups means that possible vibrations likely to muddy the sound can be suppressed.
