The A&ultima series continues to excel in advanced and innovative technology, setting the standard for perfect sound. We reaffirmed our commitment to this goal by exploring the concept of true portability, with exceptional audio performance in a small size.
The process was not easy; we overcame multiple challenges to maintain the SP3000's sonic excellence in a more compact device. We developed the SP3000M, a smaller and lighter audio player, without compromising on sound quality. After repeatedly optimising the circuitry, we were able to integrate the Hexa audio structure, which separates digital and analogue processing into separate circuits, achieving unsurpassed audio in a compact design.
The SP3000M is a truly portable Hi-Fi player, offering the best audio performance in a sophisticated, lightweight design that fits in the palm of your hand.
As the successor to the SP3000, it offers world-class audio performance, lightweight and portable anytime, anywhere. It incorporates AK's TERATON ALPHA audio solution, which features full separation of digital and analogue signals in a HEXA structure. In addition, it includes a high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 6125 processor and a VU meter that allows signal levels to be displayed with a retro touch.
The SP3000M's innovative Hexa circuit structure features four AK4499EX DACs and two AK4191EQ chips, which process digital and analogue signals separately. This configuration reduces noise in the digital signal and improves sonic clarity, achieving a signal-to-noise ratio of 130 dB, just like the SP3000, but in a much more compact size.
The device is also protected against electromagnetic interference by a high-purity silver protective enclosure, separating digital and analogue signals to ensure clean, detailed audio.
With a dual audio circuit design, both balanced and unbalanced, the SP3000M overcomes the limitations of other players, achieving an unprecedented high quality listening experience.
To achieve this level of performance, TERATON ALPHA technology was implemented, ensuring faithful reproduction of the original sound by efficiently managing noise, optimising power usage and delivering consistent audio output.
The SP3000M also incorporates an eight-core Snapdragon 6125 processor and 8GB DDR4 memory, enabling fast and stable performance, while the compact design minimises heat and digital noise.
It includes a VU meter interface, providing a fully immersive experience by displaying the audio level in real time, plus the option to stream services such as Tidal and Apple Music via the Open App and AK Connect feature.
Crossfeed technology enables an immersive sound experience when listening with headphones, reducing listening fatigue by subtly blending signals between channels.
The SP3000M supports DSD512 and 32-bit/768 kHz, offering high-resolution audio quality. It also supports QC 3.0 fast charging, allowing a full charge in approximately 3.5 hours.
Thanks to AK File Drop, file transfers are now wireless and convenient, allowing wireless music management.
The ReplayGain function automatically adjusts playback volume to level out different audio sources, ensuring a seamless experience.
With dual-band connectivity (Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz) and MQA support, the SP3000M allows you to enjoy the quality of an original master recording with every playback. It also supports aptX and LDAC for superior wireless audio quality, and is Roon Ready compatible for flawless digital audio performance.
