A true pocket-sized mono power amp thanks to its compact dimensions, the 8300MB is nevertheless a powerful electronics with a genuinely Audiolab balanced architecture capable of delivering high power output. And above all, to do it with absolute stability to any loudspeaker no matter how “difficult” it may be thanks to its enormous power reserve and power delivery capacity that are absolutely unusual in a product of its class and price. Internally, the 8300MB uses a refined topology with printed circuit boards for the positive and negative half cycles of the signal arranged one on top of the other to minimize any potential interference and thus maximize both the ability to analyze microdetails and dynamic range. Each power amplifier section is fed by one of the balanced input terminals, which means that the 8300MB behaves as a fully balanced amplifier up to the output corresponding to the speakers. The benefits provided by this configuration are a high level of noise rejection and a lower transient distortion, to which is added the aforementioned current delivery capacity. In terms of sound, the result is an extraordinarily vivid and impactful recreation of musical performance thanks to the exceptional control exerted over the loudspeakers of the loudspeakers, all at an unbeatable price.
