EAT LPS. Power supply.
With a minimalist design of great elegance, the external power supply LPS is the logical conclusion of the belief, on the part of the engineering team of EAT, that in any analog reading system the power supply is an integral part of the path traveled by the signal and, therefore, that the quality of said source has a significant influence on the sound quality. The LPS complements perfectly with the EAT C-Sharp turntables, EAT-Major, EAT E-Flat, EAT Forte "S", EAT Glo and EAT Forte, as well as all the turntables and electronic phono from Pro-Ject. (with the exception of the Phono Box RS and the AD Box S2 Phono), for which it is supplied as standard with dedicated cables and connectors. It incorporates a very high performance rectifier circuitry that combines ultra-fast diodes followed by a filtering bank of 8,800 uF, while the voltage regulation circuit is executed entirely with discrete components. The result of all this is a very low level of noise and a perfect regulation, to the point that in many aspects the benefits obtained outweigh those of a power source based on a battery.
