Among these innovations we should first mention the use of a low-resonance chassis that houses an inverted axle with a newly designed ceramic bearing that further reduces the play of the assembly. Added to this is a 15 V alternating current synchronous motor excited by an ultra-precise alternating current generator with a continuous power supply that significantly improves rotational stability. The third noteworthy element of the RPM 1 Carbon is precisely the use of an S-shaped arm made of a combination of carbon fiber, aluminum and resin that guarantees full compatibility even with particularly demanding moving coil cartridges. As for the platter itself, it is made of high-density MDF specially treated to minimize its structural resonances. A prodigy of quality at the best price.
