One of the main improvements of the X-CD1000EVO is the addition of coaxial (RCA) and optical (TOSLINK) digital inputs, allowing the connection of other digital sources such as streamers, Blu-Ray players, or other devices with digital output. The analog outputs of the X-CD1000EVO, both RCA and XLR, use valves to achieve exceptionally warm and detailed audio reproduction, without the inherent aggressiveness of some digital playback. Like all Advance Paris products, the X-CD1000EVO features a specially designed linear power supply based on a toroidal transformer. This power supply provides clean and stable power, ensuring optimal performance of the CD player under all circumstances.
