Key Features
Roon Ready.
The DSP-07EX is Roon-compatible, allowing you to enhance your music experience. It also functions as a UPnP / DLNA network player and USB DAC.
ES9038Pro for D/A Conversion.
It uses two ES9038Pro chips, one for the left and one for the right channel, for accurate digital-to-analogue conversion and high-fidelity sound.
SFP for LAN.
Instead of a standard RJ-45 connector, it uses SFP for LAN, offering flexibility with multiple SFP modules. Fibre optic SFP modules allow interference-free connections, while copper LAN cables can be used with RJ-45 type SFP modules.
External Clock.
This unit relies on an external 10 MHz input and includes an external clock generator (TCXO) with exceptional phase reduction characteristics (120dBc/Hz at 10Hz). The PMC series can further improve fidelity.
Noise Suppression.
It uses a multi-layer circuit board with a large grounding surface on the top and bottom, allowing most digital signals to be located in the middle layers. Heavy shielding minimises noise. Non-magnetic noise absorbing foils and a shielding enclosure covering noise generating components such as the central processing unit (CPU) that provides network connectivity and the clock circuit area are used, achieving robust noise suppression.
Broadcast Service.
The DSP-07EX is compatible with TIDAL, Qobuz and Amazon streaming services. You can access these services via the dedicated Taktina control app, which is free and available for iOS and Android devices.
Compatible Formats.
Supports a wide range of formats, from 44.1 kHz to 768 kHz PCM in 16/24/32-bit (fixed/floating) such as AIFF, WAV, FLAC and ALAC, to DSD in 1-bit dsf and diff formats with resolutions of DSD64/128/256/512 (2.8MHz, 5.6MHz, 11.2MHz, 22.5MHz). Seamless playback is supported in all formats.
Software Upgrades.
The digital controller is powered by an ARM11 microcomputer and DSP. Network-based software updates mean your device always enjoys the latest features and functionality, which means our products continue to evolve even after your purchase.
