Description

SRT (Semi Resonance Tube) technology developed by Grandinote is a significant innovation in loudspeaker design that seeks to eliminate the need for traditional crossovers while maintaining the purity and musicality of the sound.

Key features of SRT technology and how it works:

Crossover-free speakers: SRT technology allows speakers to operate without traditional crossovers, which eliminates any reactive components such as inductors, capacitors or resistors that can affect sound quality.

Special transducer treatment: A special treatment is applied behind the transducer membranes to eliminate brack-up problems that often occur at high frequencies. This treatment not only eliminates brack-up, but also preserves the musicality of the sound.

Modification of driver parameters: The treatment also modifies driver parameters, such as resonant frequency (Fs) and total quality factor (Qts), to adapt them to the specific configuration of the SRT technology.

Specific driver development: Grandinote has developed drivers with low Fs and high Qts, which makes them ideal for SRT technology and for implementation in Semi Resonance Tube cabinets.

Semi Resonance Tube (SRT) Cabinet: The speaker cabinet implements SRT technology, which combines bass reflex and transmission line design elements in a unique design. This cabinet, which resembles a tube with a large downward port, delivers deep, tight and fast bass, creating a listening experience very different from other speakers.
