It features a Vojtko DSP platform operating at 500 Hz with 64-bit arithmetic and a powerful MartinLogan Magnitude amplifier delivering 500 watts of continuous power.
Acoustic Configuration
The Abyss 8 incorporates an active driver with a 203 mm (8-inch) aluminum cone, complemented by two passive radiators of the same size positioned on the enclosure's side panels. This fully sealed MDF enclosure with 2.54 mm thick panels ensures outstanding sound clarity and impact, even in demanding applications. Integrated anti-vibration feet enhance sound dynamics while minimizing vibration transfer to adjacent rooms.
Connectivity and Control
Generous connectivity options include LFE RCA and XLR inputs, stereo RCA and high-level inputs, a subwoofer output, and an integrated wireless receiver and transmitter.
The Abyss 8 can be conveniently managed through the MartinLogan Subwoofer Control app and is fully compatible with the award-winning Anthem Room Correction (ARC) system, ensuring precise room adaptation and optimal sound quality.
