Built in the build quality of Lumene fixed displays, this acoustically transparent version of the Movie Palace UHD-4K display uses a high-quality woven surface to deliver pristine sound and picture. With quick and easy installation, the fixed frame of this screen includes a high quality acoustic stretch fabric. Its exclusive technology provides a perfect image, pronounced contrast, as well as excellent acoustic transparency. This canvas will allow you to position the speakers behind the screen, just like in a movie theater, ensuring a linear frequency response without compensation.
The acoustic fabric is different from the standard perforated or micro perforated PVC fabric. Its specific structure allows a crossover of all frequencies without diffraction. As a result, the frequency response is linear, with no losses in the high frequencies, and the signal is much more accurate than with common screen materials.
The Lumene Movie Palace UHD 4K Acoustic display fabric is precisely woven. The vertical and horizontal fibers are assembled to reach 92,000 micropores per 10 cm² of canvas. The difference in acoustic attenuation between 8 kHz and 12.5 kHz is 500 Hz, it is less than 1 dB and 1.5 dB, which translates into exceptional sound transparency. This complex woven structure is compatible with Ultra HD 4K projectors. The screen has a UV, mold and fire resistant surface.
The fabric is firmly attached to the frame through a multi-point fastening system for perfect tension. This ensures a flat surface for optimized projection. In addition, it is treated with anti-yellowing, anti-static and dustproof, which allows it to resist over time.
The acoustically transparent fabric is not totally opaque. We therefore suggest that it be placed in front of a dark background. The loudspeakers should be installed so that the tweeters are positioned on the longitudinal center axis of the screen (or slightly higher if there are multiple rows of seats).
