The Edifier S2000MKIII is the evolution of the acclaimed Edifier S2000PRO active speakers, introducing new features without losing their distinctive essence.
With a combined output power of 130W from three amplifiers, the S2000MKIII delivers exceptional sound quality, backed by a solid internal construction. These active speakers feature a wide range of connections, including Bluetooth aptX HD and various presets to suit your listening preferences.
Detailed sound experience
The Edifier S2000MKIII focus on delivering the best possible audio quality. They feature a flat tweeter developed in collaboration with Fostex, a unique innovation for bookshelf speakers. The 5.5" woofer is constructed with an aluminium diaphragm and suspension designed to eliminate unwanted harmonics, providing accurate reproduction of low frequencies.
State-of-the-art electrical technology
The S2000MKIII's electrical core incorporates Burr-Brown's PCM1802 chip, with an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of up to 105 dB. The optical and coaxial connections employ Burr-Brown's PCM9211 with a sampling rate of 24-bit/216 kHz. Each loudspeaker houses a Texas Instruments TL320AIC3254 type sound processor, used to control dynamic range and prevent distortion.
In addition, the amplifier driving the speakers employs three TAS5754 chips connected in parallel bridge mode to drive the woofers and tweeters.
Advanced wireless connectivity
Equipped with Qualcomm's QCC3031 module with support for aptX HD, the S2000MKIII enables wireless connectivity to devices such as smartphones, tablets, Hi-Res players or PCs with high-fidelity audio quality.
In addition, optical and coaxial connections offer excellent compatibility with TVs, while the 3.5mm to RCA input is ideal for turntables.
Audio customisation
The speakers offer several listening presets, including modes such as monitor, dynamic, classic and vocal, allowing you to tailor the sound to your personal preferences. The included remote control makes it easy to adjust the speakers from the comfort of your location.
Modern, refined design
The S2000MKIII features an updated design with a sleek black front combined with dark brown side panels. A digital display on the bottom provides speaker status information at all times.
