PYLON AUDIO OPAL MONITOR

The Opal Monitor bookshelf loudspeakers are a two-way design, based on the PSC 18.8 CS/M low-midrange driver. The woofer has been adapted to work conditions in a smaller enclosure by changing the susceptibility of the suspensions. In the mids, the paper membrane, subjected to the coating process, offers a selective sound with a dose of warmth.

The top of the band was taken care of by a 25mm silk dome tweeter, which thanks to its compact size allowed the acoustic centers of the speaker system to be closer together.

Opal Monitor, like the entire Opal line, offers above-average mid-range readability. It's a set you can use successfully in your home recording studio, and the set is so composed that it doesn't get technical. The whole idea of ​​the Opal line was inspired by the same idea: to create a neutral set of speakers, which in addition to deepening the recording, brings pleasure while listening to music.

The set allows for comfortable close-range listening, the soundstage is inviting, and sound separation from the speakers is no problem. The sound is saturated with well-controlled bass, giving the songs compactness and speed. The general readability and perception of the recording is a strong point of the entire Opal line.

The 18mm body with the case back has been combined with a 22mm thickened screen, designed to reduce vibrations from the front wall. An additional element that stiffens the entire structure is a reinforcement placed in a sensitive place.

The speakers are dedicated to rooms of 12-20m2.
