Based on MartinLogan's celebrated electrostatic / electrodynamic hybrid loudspeaker system, the ElectroMotion ESL X is a stylish acoustic screen designed to seamlessly integrate into all types of domestic spaces, while its features give it a versatility that Allows you to be part of high fidelity and home theater systems of very high performance. From the technical point of view, the most relevant feature of the new MartinLogan is that it incorporates an improved CLS XStat electrostatic panel to reproduce the middle and upper zones of the spectrum which, by having an upper emission surface, makes the dispersion of the sound In the horizontal plane is 30 degrees, while in the vertical plane is the equivalent of a linear source of just over 1 meter in height. As is standard in all hybrid MartinLogan designs, the lower part of the spectrum is entrusted to a subwoofer located at the base, which combines two electrodynamic speakers with treated paper cone of 203 mm diameter and an asymmetric asymmetric chamber with bass load -reflex. These transducers are able to perform large displacements without distortion, which, in conjunction with the design of the enclosure, makes the frequency response curve of the EM-ESL X range from 41 to 22,000 Hz, despite Occupy very little volume. At the end of the day, elegant decoupling cones guarantee the perfect positioning of the EM-ESL X in all types of spaces.
