VIMBERG Tonda
Choose between the Tonda model with a 30 mm ceramic tweeter or, as an option, with a 30 mm pure diamond tweeter called Tonda D. With VIMBERG's unique crossover technology, the ceramic tweeter offers a clarity and openness in the high frequencies rarely heard.
Midrange Driver:
Equipped with a 168 mm Accuton ceramic midrange speaker, the Tonda integrates this driver without resonances, achieving a seamless blend with tweeters and woofers.
Woofer Driver:
Three 190 mm Accuton woofers with aluminium 3D honeycomb diaphragm reproduce extremely fast and deep bass, operating in a perfectly calculated air volume inside the Tonda's cabinet.
Crossover design:
The crossover of the VIMBERG Tonda stands out for its unparalleled design and effortlessness. The quality of the parts and their execution is exceptional, and the topology was designed specifically for these loudspeakers, offering exceptional off-axis performance, ultra-linear frequency response and incredible synchronisation.
Aluminium-HDF Hybrid:
The Tonda's high-frequency drive unit is mounted on a massive aluminium faceplate. Although aluminium is not the ideal choice for the cabinet, in this case it reinforces the Tonda's construction. In combination with the water-resistant HDF fibre laminate, the unit provides an extremely solid grip on the drivers for optimum precision.
Insulation Support:
The Tonda includes a massive foot milled from a single block of aluminium, connected to a 5-part insulation device with Teflon inserts for best insulation and height adjustment on different surfaces.
Better Connection:
Each VIMBERG loudspeaker uses original Argento binding posts, moulded from a fibre-reinforced polymer to avoid magnetic interference with the driver. Internally, each VIMBERG loudspeaker is wired with high-end coaxial cable.
